May 10th

It has been a busy few weeks for the girlz - today was the final Idita READ celebration for the Islesford kids at the Ashley Bryan school. Jill and Lily went today - this was Lily's first official therapy dog event. Seems she will fit right into the programs - she did quite well with the kids.

May 8th

Jill hit the UMO campus again for final week therapy dog session in the Folger Library. She and her new boyfriend Atticus were a big hit on the final dog day. The program was such a success that they are already talking about doing it again next year.

May 3rd

Jill and Rissa went as team mascots to the end Idita READ celebration at Tremont School. The entire school was there. Over 75% or the students read over 1000 minutes and got paw medals. All students got certificates, books, pencils and cake. Some of the students knit the dog collars in their team colors - The girlz are modeling them after the party was over.

May 2nd

Jill had a great time and "de-stressed" many students at UMO today

NEH Idita READ celebration 4/22/13

The celebration at NEH was fun. The three 4/5 combo grades had a great time. Cake, certificates and books for all. The RED team won (Jill was their mascot)!! Rissa's GREEN team came in third.Cirra's PURPLE team was second. Rissa and Gracie (Iggy) get ready for the kids. Jill gets great hugs from a girl that could not eat cake so - she got Jill all to herself while the others ate :)
